How do you rearrange to make x the subject in a quadratic equation?

Like (x-3)(2x+4)=y HOW do you rearrange to make x the subject here?

I’d like to get to know how to do this for ALL quadratics.. Are there any sites for doing it?

there is no such kind of rearranging that can do that. However, if you want the roots; you can use the quadratic formula.
