There is no website or book that has EVERY horse breed because there are so many.

Wikipedia’s list (posted by the second answerer) is pretty darn close. I doubt you’ll find anything more extensive than that.

THere is no official site; there’s no official list. Anyone can make up a breed - like Abstang! - and have a website and a registry. Doesn’t make it a breed. Makes it someone’s wild ass fantasy to make their horse more valuable.

Why, I have a Solid-pinto-shet-paloosa in my own backyard. There’s only one registered Solid-pinto-shet-paloosa in the whole world. I know, cuz I run the registry, and I’m not accepting any that aren’t descended from the original foundation stock… that is, my pony. Unfortunately, he’s gelded and never had any offspring, so he’ll always be the only one.

I’m not aware of a website but there is a book called horse breeds or horses of the world.. Try Amazon.com
