What happens to videos taken off of youtube for copyright infringment?

can the owner of the video still see their videos, but the public can’t?

nope, its gone for ever in a whirl wind of sound, video, and flying chipmunks.

However, sometimes the video is removed, but then the copyright holder will allow it to remain up, just completely muted. Most times, however, this completely ruins the video as almost all video has needed audio to understand it.
