I am guessing that you have a tape based sytem and that it is digital. It sounds like it may be a hardware issue and that your pc may not be powerful enough to record the video. (I had a similar problem with an older PC). All you can really do is see about re-installing drivers for the camcorder. You might also try Ulead Video Studio (not free but has lower resource demands and tends to be easy to use when getting the video on the pc).&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
