   Try to use axara video converter. It can download videos from YouTube, convert it to any formats and for any media devices, can create DVD and burn it to disc. Also it has good video editor.

   If you put a part of another user’s video on your video, that person could report you for copying. You are supposed to make your own video with your own content. That is what YouTube was set up for - sharing videos that are 100% your own work

   I think real player plug-in in version 11 is good to view and download youtube videos as I use it and it is good but sometimes slow for long size movies ..

   yes…

   this will help you…. Use ‘zillatube’. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

   Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 video or sound formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or windows media player), and more. Also for high quality conversion, use vcd mode to get good quality mpg file.

   Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker(included in your windows machine) to create new masterpieces..

   It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mpg videos with windows movie maker.

    You can try liteCam, I’ve been using it for few months to record YouTube videos and pretty happy with it. I’ve tried several programs, and it works the best for recording short (5-20 minutes) streaming videos.
