Why kids should share bedrooms
Another thing you could think about if you only have one child or if your kids are not going to be sharing bed rooms is to get a bunk bed with a desk underneath. This is a great way to economise on room, more so if you have a child that is going off to the first grade soon or is already in the first grade and is will have to spend time doing coursework each day. If you are not going to get a desk for the bedroom, you could always purchase a pullout futon as the bunk beneath, giving your child one smaller bed above and then a larger sofabed down below. This is really great if your kids like to play xbox games or lounging around, as this allows them their own particular space to do that.
