Remodeling your kitchen can be a very expensive process. You not only have the cost of the cabinets, you are usually also replacing your countertops, flooring, appliances and wall coverings as well. One ways of reducing this cost is by doing as much of the work yourself as you can.

This article will explore the process of installing your own cabinets. At first you may think this a very difficult undertaking, but if the right steps are followed you can very easily do this yourself. This series is comprised of 7 parts: Measuring and layout, room preparation, tools required like a cordless drill driver, installing the upper cabinets, installing the base cabinets, adding moldings and trim, and fine tuning your installation.
