In Australia, what are the names of some famous shops or places where I can get digital photos printed or developed or whatever it is they do?

As I’m in the UK I can’t comment on places in the Aus high street I’m afraid, but these days I would recommend trying printing online.
I use Kodak, Snapfish and Photobox here and they have all produced decent to excellent results.
The main bonuses are the convenience and cost. You upload pics to their servers (you can use it a bit like flickr too if you want by making albums and sharing them) and then choose which ones to print, size, finish, crop and quantity and then they are posted out to you usually within a couple of days. The online places are often a lot cheaper too. Certainly here in the UK.
There are also options for minor photo editing if you don’t have software of your own and the choice of all manner of products to have photos printed onto like cards, t-shirts etc, much like the high street.
Do a search on the ones I’ve mentioned and see if the service is available in Aus.
