First color printer was a combination HP Officejet and the inkjet cartidges (has 2: one black and one tricolor) are expensive and don't last.

I already owned a HP Laserjet (B/W) that printed professional quality letters and resumes, but always had an itch for a HP Color Laserjet (very heavy and 4 color toners are like $100 apiece but if you're patient you can buy genuine ones on EBAY much cheaper). Anyway, with expensive HP brochure and matte paper, what a huge difference in the end product that the reader sees & touches!

Actually for photos, I think the consumables are too expensive that viisting Costco. Walmart etc and paying $.19 a print is much more cost effective in the long run bec FIRST OF ALL, you don't have to buy color printer and then over time, ink cartridges will mount up to many $$.

Hope The Above Info Helps!
