How can you unwrinkle a large family portrait?
Recently my family had portraits made. They were great but unfortunately, before I could get the 11 x 13 framed, it got wrinkled and now I’m looking for a way to fix this problem. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Sandwich the print between two solid, smooth, flat surfaces, making sure they are clean lay your print out flat and carefully sandwich the print in between, making sure to not create anymore wrinkles. Place something very heavy on the top of the ’sandwich’ and leave for a week. It may be an idea to use something like cling-film to cover the image side of the photo before doing this to avoid any bonding between the photo and the surface of the ’sandwich’.
first lay it out on the floor, then put pressure facing down. take something that has a flat edge and just push out. it will un-wrinkle it
