How do I make prints from digital images?

I would love to start producing prints from some of the images I have taken. Has anyone done it, and can you tell me what equipment I need and where to get it from?
Thanks., Mel
should have been more clear, I want to make large A3 A2 prints! But don’t want a massive outlay of initial costs!

Upload and print from Costco or Wolf Camera.

You can get a pretty decent home printer nowadays for not too much money. I’d like to recommend Epson printers, but the ink is expensive and the printers seem to use it up like a drunk with a six-pack, making it more expensive than sending out to your local processor.

If you have a Kodak easy share camera you will be able to buy it’s dedicated docking unit. Place the camera on top of it, the machine reads it and can develop off as many as you want. You can also buy a refill ink cartridge in a pack along with either 100 or 200 6×4 photgraphic paper sheets. I love it and mine is used a LOT. Good Luck, enjoy.

  3. Short of buying an A3 printer, Kodak Gallery do Poster size prints for between £6.99 for 18 inches by 12 to £16.99 for 30 inches by 20 inches. Not sure where you are but hope it helps.

  4. I would recommend an Epson printer. I have the 2200 which prints up t0 13×19. I don’t think they make that model anymore but they have two new printers that do the same size, one is better for b/w and the other is better for glossy color. Either way their going to run you between 600 or 900 dollars. If your going to do alot of printing the purchase is worth it because you will have total control and it will cost you a ton of money to have someone else do the printing of equal quality.
