How can I make one video using both video clips and still images?
I’m trying to make a video using both video clips and still images. Is there a special program I need to do this? I’ve tried 2 programs I have already, which are Memories on TV and Windows Movie Maker, but neither of them do what I want them to do. Any suggestions??
Windows movie maker will work
just import the photos and video
move the video to the time-line
split it anywhere you want to insert a photo
add the photo in the time-line
publish to computer
done

What is the music video with the clay grey guy who works in a factory and starts to sell rainbow stuff in him?
Its not a Tool video (though I know it sounds like one, but I’ve researched and its not). The video has this little claymation, grey guy who works in a factory and then starts to sell this rainbow stuff thats in his chest. At the end he’s rich but has no more rainbow stuff left in him. I know its bizarre but I remember this video very much from when I was a kid.
It’s Mark Osborne’s short film, "More."

How do i get a video from a tape on a video camera to my laptop?
I’ve got a bunch of random stuff recorded on my video camera and i only want to get the last like 30 minutes. Are there any cheap easy ways to get it from the tape on the video camer to my computer?
Assuming you’ve got a MiniDV or Digital8 camcorder you can capture the video via firewire. If your laptop hasn’t already got one you’ll need to install a firewire card. They’re cheap, easy to install and readily available but make sure you check whether your laptop uses Express or PCMCIA cards. You’ll also need a firewire cable.
Using Windows Movie Maker you can select which parts of the tape you want to capture - make sure you start a few seconds before the bit you want and finish a few seconds after.

What video sharing site to use to embed video on college newspaper site?
I work at a college newspaper and we are looking at integrating video news items into our pages for some articles. This video would be integrated on the actual article page. What we are looking for is a good trade off between video quality, good looking video player and easily embeddable. I am wondering what the best video sharing site would be to do this on, taking into consideration the extra audience we could pull to our site from the community that is already on the platform.
Please give me your opinion!
i think youtube is the best one, you can also try dailymotion, veoh and metacafe

How can i add video stills to my youtube video?
I have just recently uploaded my video, but when i try to find it on you tube its not there, i can watch it on my home account page, but it has no picture, just a white backround with a video camera. Any suggestions?
Recently uploaded videos take time to process, just give it a day or so and you’ll get an image for it.

What is the role of the video card in video editing?
When you render an edited video, is it the video card that actually does the rendering process, or is it the CPU, or both of them? When you are running a video editing software such as Final Cut or Sony Vegas, what is the video card doing?
Thanks for your help.
Some video editing programs can use the graphics card for additional computing power, but most of the time they simply display what’s going on.
