What diagnostics equipment to use for a 1995 trans am?
I know that my 1995 trans am has an OBD1 system with an OBD2 port. What is the cheapest setup I could use to get trouble codes from this system? I would prefer it if I could put some software on my laptop.
I explained to you before how to retrieve the codes, and that is cheap. If you would rather have some fancy program for a lap top, be ready to fork out at least 400 bucks. Good luck. Christopher

What is the difference between hydrogenated oils and trans fat?
I thought that they were the same. Howoever, I see many products that list on the their labels zero trans fats , but have hydrogenated oils (partially and-or whole) in the ingredients list.
They are the same thing. BUT, if a serving size contains less than half a gram of trans-fats then the Gov’t allows them to round it down to zero. You know those snack crackers that come in packs of 6? Well, they claim 0 trans-fats by calling that a 3 serving container. In actually, if you scarfed down the whole thing like we all do; you’d get 1.5 grams of trans-fats. The public thinks the food labels mean the Gov’t is protecting them, but the Gov’t makes the food companies put it on the label, giving the Gov’t deniability. In essence, ou are responsible for reading and understanding the food labels and choosing what you consume.

What is the likelihood of a trans vaginal ultrasound missing a tumor on your ovary?
Hi I am 21 and I have been feeling a little bloated and my weight has went up a little bit, so my doctor ordered me to have a trans vaginal ultrasound and a abdominal x ray. The trans vaginal ultrasound came back normal and same with the x ray. The x ray only showed that I was a little backed up, could the ultrasound and x ray missed a tumor on the ovaries?
There is little percentage of error. Those machines are made of the highest quality.

What cars have the same 5 speed manual trans as my 1998 Tiburon?
It has a 2.0L engine and trans has a hole in it so I need the whole thing. I heard some Mitsu trans might fit.
Mitsubishi transmissions from the 2.0L Galant or Eclipse might work. Note that the Beta engine, however, is still different from the Mitsubishi 4G63 or 4G94.
If you need the whole thing, the Mitsubishi 4G63 off the 1stGen or 2ndGen Eclipse will fit.

How much horsepower does a 1979 trans am have stock?
I am 17 and I’m getting my first car and I wanted to know how much horsepower a 1979 trans am with a 6.6 402 engine has stock. Thanks in advance.
Just a rough guess, but I’d say about 150 hp. It’s a 403, by the way, not 402. I had that engine in my ‘79 Olds 98. Good engine.

Will a custom subwoofer enclosure for a 95 camaro fit a 94 trans am?
I am thinking about buying a subwoofer enclosure from someone who had a 95 camaro for my 94 trans am. Should the box fit my 1994 trans am model? I know I have seen the custom enclosures for 93-97 trans ams/camaros so if anyone knows any help would be appreciated.

How can you determine the ratio of cis and trans from H NMR spectrum?
How can you determine the ratio of cis and trans from H NMR spectrum? Specifically for cis- and trans- 2-methylcycohexanol. What would would the ratio be? I know it has something to do with the coupling, but I have no idea how to go about it.
i think the ratio of cis and trans-2-methylcyclohexanol can be determined by the signal intensity of chemical shift of hydrogen atom on methyl group and/or carbon #2.
hydroxyl group is an electron-withdrawing group. As a result, the hydrogen atoms near hydroxyl group will be deshielding.
however sheilding constant (sigma) has a strong relationship with distance.
hydrogen atoms on methyl group of trans-2-methylcyclohexanol have longer distance than cis one, and the signal of hydrogen atoms on methyl group will shift to downfield.

Will the clutch master cylinder out of a 2.5L dakota work with a NV3500 trans hooked to a 318 ?
I am swapping a 239 V6 with a 318. I am also swapping my A500 Auto to a NV3500 Manual. I want to know if manual trans parts out of a 2.5L will work with the bigger manual trans i plan to use?
It will work it may not fit where or how the old one did you may have to get "creative" but it WILL work I have done MANY such swaps and used many different parts the only thing I have EVER been hampered by is how to fasten it securely, and that is usually very easy to figure out.

How well does the auto trans stay in tact on 2001 ford f-350?
I had just drove my fathers 95 f-350 in overdrive about 200 miles and the front seal blow out on it. Had a load of about 3500 lbs, gooseneck horse trailer. Also the trans has had some issues with it before. Just wondering if the newer were built any better. Thanks.
F-350s do alot of towing and other hard work and that can kill any transmission.
transmission problems are very common with trucks that age.
