I love the beach with the family
I never thought I’d enjoy beach holidays with a young family. Seemed like hard work. I mean even when you are trying to relax you have to keep a constant eye out for your little ones. It’s not like you can just lay on a beach towel and sip cocktails is it?
That was what I used to think though but now I’ve changed my mind. Being with my kids takes me back to when I was young. Splashing in the water, riding a boogie board, searching for crabs in the rock pools. One day I was holding my little boy’s hand while we were walking on the sand. He looked so adorable in his baby kimono. All of a sudden he stopped to look at some fish swimming around the shallow water and screamed ‘Pish!’. It was his first word. Now, that’s a beach holiday I’ll always remember.
