where’s the cheapest place to order prints of digital photos?

i’ve been meaning to print out picture from my digital camera but i just dont’ know where. i’m aware that walmart and costco print pictures but is there a place where it is cheaper? please let me know. thanks.

if a few cents per pic charged by most drugstores, walmart and costco is too much then maybe you should just emjoy them on your pc or re-evaluate your spending priorities.

Best Cheapest Canada Based Digital Prints Online?

I have over 900 photos. Looking for a site to order photos online. Must be a Canada based company, not US, I don’t want to pay duty or high shipping. I usually use Future shop online photo. Tried Walmart, hated the quality. Was thinking about trying Costco if I can’t find anything cheaper and better. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I used Loblaws, Wal-mart, BestBuy and Future Shop. Future Shop’s quality used to be the best but their service is slow. It takes a few days to ship my pictures to the store. I use Loblaw’s frequently because it is 1 hour service and 19 cents for a 4×6.

where is there cheapest place to get digital prints?

right now i am using snapfish.com where it is 9 cents a picture. is there anywhere else that can do it cheaper?

9 Cents is really cheap! Normally it’s as low as 19 cents at the local drugstore.

Remember: Cheap usually means Crappy

Wait, is this USD?

How can I get commercial prints of my digital photographs to look more like they look on screen?

When I print digital photographs at Costco, they turn out much darker than the images I see on the screen. My work flow is:

Canon SD300 -> GraphicConverter (Mac) to sharpen, crop, set color profile -> Costco printer

Make sure you choose a picture with a good range of colors,
or you may end up adjusting for one part of the sprectrum while completely destroying another.

On another note, I’ve noticed Costco prints are generally always too dark. I would recommend Walmart’s service

why when i develop my digital prints is the bottom portion cropped?

I went down to CVS and used a kodak kiosk to create my prints and it crops the bottom of the photos? they were taken in 8 megapixel is that too high should i use 3 mp for a 4×6 or 5×7?

No 8 mp is not too high. Always shoot your images at the highest resolution your camera supports

If you do the math, you will see that the image ratio for a 4×6m 5×7 and 8×10 are different. DSLR’s have sensors with 3:2 ratio, which means they can be printed 4×6 inches without any loss of the image as shot. Other size prints will automatically be cropped at the lab unless you crop them ahead of time. Most P&S cameras have a sensor that is 4:3 ratio, so some cropping is necessary when printing those size prints.

Just remember to rename the file each time you crop to a certain print size … I add 46, 57 and 810 to the end of each file so you do not overwrite the original.

Should I frame my digital art prints before selling them on Ebay?

I have several digital art prints in A3 size. I have created the artwork with 3ds max7, Photoshop and FreeHand respectively. I plan to sell them on Ebay. They are printed on paper and photo-paper, Most of them professionally by a printing-house. Can I sell them without framing? Would people still buy unframed prints?

Unframed materials usually sell for less as the buyer is then responsible for matting and framing them. Most Ebay buyers I know prefer to buy framed, when they receive it they can hang it (the feeling of instant gratification). If you cannot afford basic framing, a popular form of selling "prints/photos" is to matt the print and then place it in a gallery bag (clear acetate bag). This presents the buyer with a matted print ready for their own frame, and it gives them a finished look.

Did anyone catch the online coupon code for 10 cent digital prints to order online through CVS yesterday? ?

I know it had the word ‘labor’ in the coupon code but can’t remember the rest. It was good through 9/5 and it isn’t showing up on the website today. I scanned a few online search results for coupon codes but didn’t find it.

Not sure but definately checkout the coupon forum at http://www.AllPrintableCoupons.com/forum - all the latest coupons are being posted here….
